Police: Traffic stop turns into drug bust in Goose Creek

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Task Force conducted a traffic stop on Clarine Drive in Goose Creek for a traffic violation. While conducting the stop, a clear baggie containing a tan powder was observed with the passenger. 

Authorities stated that the substance field tested presumptive to be heroin. A search warrant was obtained for the home address of the passenger. 

The passenger, identified as Carlos Aldolfo Iglesias, 34 of Goose Creek. 

Located at the residence was:
* 6.8 grams of a substance that field tested presumptive to be heroin
* 26 grams of a substance that field tested presumptive to be methamphetamines
* 26 grams of a green plant like substance that field tested presumptive to be marijuana
* .8 grams of a substance that field tested presumptive to be cocaine
* 16 pills of various controlled substances. 

Carlos Aldolpho Iglesias was arrested and transported to the Hill-Finklea Detention Center pending warrant service and a bond hearing, authorities added.
