Police: Woman suffered multiple stab wounds outside West Ashley apartment

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCBD) –  The Charleston Police Department is investigating after a 25-year-old woman was stabbed outside her West Ashley apartment late Tuesday night.

An officer was dispatched to the Orleans Gardens Apartments off Hazlewood Drive around 10:30 p.m. in reference to a stabbing that had just occurred.

Upon arrival, the officer located 25-year-old Monet Moore who appeared to have suffered multiple stab wounds which happened just outside of her apartment, according to an incident report.

We are told the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.

Charleston County EMS, St. Andrews Fire, and K9 officers responded to the scene.

Moore was transported to MUSC. Her condition is unknown.
