Red Cross assisting Goose Creek family after fire

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCBD) – Volunteers with the American Red Cross are assisting a Goose Creek family that was displaced after a fire at their home Saturday evening.

The Goose Creek Fire Department responded to the home on Middleton Drive and said that the home was badly damaged by the smoke and flames.

The Red Cross is coming together and providing financial assistance for food, clothing, lodging and other essentials.
