Report: Town of Summerville Parks and Recreation employees robbed at gunpoint

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) -The Summerville Police Department responded to an armed robbery in the 600 block of Wassamassaw Road, according to the incident report.

Upon arrival, officers met with the victims who stated they had both been robbed at gun point by two unknown males. Both of the victims work for the Town of Summerville Parks and Recreation and were gathering trash near the bathroom and saw an unknown male enter one of their work trucks, according to the incident report.

The victim stated that $10 was taken from him during the robbery, authorities added. The other victim was told to empty his pockets and that one of the suspects took it.
