North Charleston, S.C. (WCBD):

The South Carolina Department of Transportation is asking for your help. City leaders are holding a meeting tonight in North Charleston to hear proposals for what is being called the I-26 Corridor Management plan.

The goal is to alleviate traffic on a 34 mile stretch of I-26 from Ridgeville to Downtown Charleston. The plan includes reducing travel during peak hours, upgrading traffic signals, and adding high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes.

The meeting is being held at North Charleston City Hall… doors open at 5pm.
