NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Senator Kamala Harris returns to South Carolina to campaign on March 8 and 9.
The news release stated that on Friday, she will visit two rural counties for community meet-and-greets, where local voters and community leaders will join her for discussions about the future of the country. On Saturday, Harris will be hosted by the Dorchester County Democrats for a breakfast meet-and-greet where voters can hear Harris lay out her vision for the country and ask her questions.
Officials stated that Harris will also participate in the Charleston Black Expo Economic Empowerment Summit on Saturday for its 20th anniversary. There, Harris will talk about the importance of small and minority-owned businesses and meet with local community leaders.
This is Harris’s third visit to South Carolina as a presidential candidate.
