A Coastal Flood Warning continues this morning for the Lowcountry, as major tidal flooding develops along the South Carolina coast.
Tide levels appear to have reached the 6th highest level ever recorded in Charleston Harbor with widespread flooding along the coast.
Numerous roads are flooded and many are impassable.
“The worst flooding will continue through 10 AM but conditions will quickly improve as we head toward midday,” said Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Josh Marthers.
