GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office investigators have charged a sixth teenager in an assault case that took place on Indian Hut Road Tuesday.
As the result of an ongoing investigation, Blake Allen Finley, 18, of Andrews has been charged with Affray for his role in the events that came to light after a video of an assault was circulated on social media, according to officials.
Affray is consensual fighting in a public place to the terror of the populace, according to the state’s criminal code.
The news release states that second charges of Assault by Mob have been filed against three of the five individuals arrested on Oct. 31, 2018. David Dequan Rutledge Jr., Kenneth Daniel Newton and Gunnar Travis Gatlin remain in custody today on those charges. Anthony Robert Holmes and Alquavion Melvin Snow, charged with one count of Assault by Mob, were released on bond this morning.
