MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – On Tuesday, March 6th authorities responded to an assault between a coach and juvenile at the Park West soccer field.

Arthur Parsons Geer, 44, is charged with Assault and Battery in the 2nd Degree.

The juveniles were asked to leave the field due to an upcoming game being coached by Geer.

Since the kids were slow to leave and kept kicking the ball back and forth, Geer took their ball and placed it into his bookbag.

The juveniles went to retrieve their ball and began cursing at Geer, who removed the ball and kicked it across the field.

The kids reacted by kicking one of the coach’s balls across the field.

Geer reacted by approaching the juvenile and placing his hand across the throat and throwing the kid to the ground.

There was a Snapchat video recorded of the incident from the arguing all the way to the kid being thrown to the ground.
