The Coburg Cow comes down: Hurricane Dorian on the way

WEST ASHLEY, S.C. (WCBD) – It’s a local landmark that often signals when a storm is coming – the removal of the Coburg Cow on Savannah Highway.

Area residents know when the cow comes down, it’s time to heed evacuation orders.

The Coburg Cow was in fact removed from its perch above Savannah Highway on Monday morning with evacuation orders in place for noon.

It’s happening: Crews are removing the Coburg Cow in preparation for Hurricane Dorian.
