  • Today marks one year since the Parkland school shooting massacre. Florida’s Governor is now calling for a state-wide grand jury investigation to look into how the school district responded to the attack. 
  • Confessed serial killer Samuel Little is helping the FBI identify some of his alleged victims. He’s drawn 16 of them from memory. Little told investigators he killed 90 people over the years, including someone in Charleston. 
  • Demolition is now set for May 1, 2019 for the Old Naval Hospital. The concept plan for the site approved by Charleston County Council includes a social services building. The new facility is scheduled to open in the fall of 2021. 
  • The Southeastern Wildlife Expo kicks off tomorrow. The 3-day celebration of wildlife and nature marks the beginning of tourist season. The Charleston Vistors Bureau expects the event to bring in 50 million dollars to the local economy.
