Track Elsa and receive alerts with the Storm Team 2 weather app

Local News

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – Storm Team 2 is tracking severe weather associated with Tropical Storm Elsa. The storm is expected to bring heavy rain, gusty winds, and the possibility of flooding and an isolated tornado as it moves across the region Wednesday into Thursday.

You can track the storm and receive weather alerts by download the free Storm Team 2 weather app. Just search for ‘WCBD WX’ in your phone or tablet’s app store.

Once the app is downloaded, make sure you have alerts and location settings turned on so the app can alert you if a warning is issued for your area. You can even choose to hear alert announcements from Storm Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Rob Fowler!

Not sure how? Rob Fowler shows you how the app works – and how to find the settings – in the video above this story.

The weather app from Storm Team 2 has many great features like live interactive radar, so you can track storms down to your street. You can also see current and hourly conditions, video updates from Storm Team 2, and a weekly forecast.

Again, just search WCBD Wx in the app store. (click here for the Apple App Store | click here for the Google Play Store.)
