CHARLESTON, SC (WCBD) – The U.S. Attorney’s office on Friday announced federal grand juries returned indictments against two Charleston men accused of robbing an armored truck.
Among other charges, attorney Sherri Lydon said the indictment includes robbery affecting interstate commerce and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime of violence.
Additionally, Dingle is also charged with being a felon in possession of ammunition.
Both men now face a maximum penalty of up to life in federal prison.
The case was investigated by the FBI and Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office and is assigned to Assistant United States Attorney Chris Schoen of the Charleston office for prosecution.
