Two suspects charged following an overnight shooting in N. Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON (WCBD) – North Charleston Police are investigating a shooting near the 6900 block of Orvin road Wednesday night.

The shooting took place in the area of Orvin street and Midland Park road.

The victim states he was shot after the suspect inquired about money and marijuana, according to Public Information Officer Spencer Pryor.

Tyquan Cooper, along with a 16-year-old juvenile, was located at a residence on Clara Lane and charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Violent Crime.

We know one person is being transported to the hospital and another suspect is on the run.
