SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Crews responded to a trolley on fire near Forsyth Park early Friday afternoon.

The fire broke out on an Old Savannah Tours trolley near the Mansion on Forsyth Park on Drayton Street.

A witness said the fire escalated quickly, although the occupants “at first weren’t even aware there was a fire.”

According to Jim Lucas with Old Savannah Tours, all guests on board got out safely. He added that the details surrounding the cause of the fire are still being determined.
