VIDEO: Good Samaritans race to help after car crashes, overturns on I-526

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCBD) – A good Samaritan sprang into action Friday after a car ran off the road and overturned near Mount Pleasant.

According to one of the men who helped pull the woman out, the crash happened on I-526 westbound at the Long Point Road exit around 7:20 a.m.

He said the woman hit a guardrail before crashing and rolling over.

The good Samaritan, Kevin, and three others worked to free the woman after the crash.

He said the car was in bad shape, but the woman was wearing a seatbelt.

The victim was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.
