Wells Fargo branches in Eastern South Carolina will delay openings after Hurricane Florence

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – In order to evaluate damage and help team members recover from Hurricane Florence, Wells Fargo will delay openings for 13 branches and keep the Cheraw branch closed today, according to the news release.  

Wells Fargo branches in Charleston, Columbia, Florence, the Low Country and the Upstate opened at 9 a.m., according to officials. Thirteen branches in the Grand Strand and parts of the Pee Dee will open at 11 a.m., and the Cheraw branch will remain closed today. 

Officials stated that other branches could remain closed or delay their openings today as circumstances dictate. Customers are encouraged to check www.wellsfargo.com for real-time information on specific branch closures and delayed openings.

Customers can continue to use ATMs or bank online via wellsfargo.com and the Wells Fargo smartphone and tablet apps, and over the phone at 1-800-TO-WELLS.
