Williamsburg County passes mask ordinance

WILLIAMSBURG, S.C. (WCBD) – On Thursday afternoon, Williamsburg County Council passed Emergency Ordinance 2020-03, requiring individuals to wear face coverings in designated areas, effective July 13.

These areas include restaurants, pharmacies, and grocery stores.

Those who fail to comply could face a fine of up to $25.00.

The ordinance is in effect for 60 days, unless otherwise agreed upon.
