Mayor Tecklenburg reads the Declaration of Independence on the 4th of July

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston brought in the 4th of July with Mayor John Tecklenburg held the traditional reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Old Exchange Building.

This tradition was one of the few that were still able to take place this year during the COVID-19 pandemic.
