N. Charleston Coliseum considers adding 23 metal detectors

The North Charleston City Council is considering buying 23 portable, walk-through metal detectors.

They would go into the Coliseum Convention Center and Performing Arts Center to heighten safety.

Tonight, the council plans to discuss awarding nearly $110,000 for those detectors to the lowest bidder.
