HINESVILLE, Ga. (WSAV) – A middle school student in Liberty County was detained Tuesday morning for making terroristic threats, officials say.

According to Hinesville Police Detective Tracey Howard, officials at Lewis Frasier Middle School intercepted communications from the student and notified authorities.

The student is said to be between the age of 13 or 14.

Howard says at this point, no charges have been filed, but the investigation is underway.
