Federal authorities say a man is in custody in connection to the suspected explosive packages sent to prominent democrats in the past few days.

We’re told the man was arrested in Florida.

Early this morning two more suspicious packages were found, bringing the total of mailed explosives discovered this week to 12.

Authorities say they are treating the bombs as a domestic terrorism matter.

Sarah Isgur Flores, Director of Public Affairs at the Department of Justice confirmed the announcement on Twitter Friday afternoon.
