CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – There are two new products on recall.
Nearly 50,000 pounds of raw ground pork patty products. The USDA says Johnsoville Grillers Cheddar Cheese and Bacon flavored pork patties may be contaminated with black rubber.
The pork patties were produced in September and October of last year. Best by dates include July 24th, August 13th, and August 14th of this year.
The second recall is for more than 68,000 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken nugget products.
22 ounce packages of frozen Simply Smart organic chicken breast nuggets gluten-free, may be contaminated with possible extraneous materials.
The USDA specifically names wood.
The chicken nuggets were produced on October 25, 2018 with a best by date of October 25, 2019. If you have either product, throw it away or return it to the store where you bought it.
