South Carolina Red Cross sending workers to help Texas amid Tropical Storm Imelda flooding

The South Carolina Red Cross is sending disaster workers to Texas to help communities affected by Tropical Storm Imelda.

Red Cross Officials say two volunteers have already deployed, but more could be coming as the situation demands.

Five people are now confirmed dead from the flooding as Imelda has dropped at least 40 inches of rain.
