MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Myrtle Beach Police have arrested a person, and search for another, in connection to a shooting that happened early Sunday morning on 4th Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard.

Lt. Joey Crosby confirmed to News13 that the victim was shot under the awning of the Holiday Sands North Hotel around 1:40am. The victim were taken by ambulance to the hospital.RELATED: 1 person shot at Myrtle Beach resort

Myrtle Beach Police are searching for 21-year-old Shaylan Charvoris Issac in connection to the shooting. He is a 6’4″ African-American male, with black hair, brown eyes, and around 175lbs. He was last seen wearing light brown/black, white shift, brown pants, and black Jordans.

According to officers, Issac shot the victim, then ran away from the scene. He is wanted for attempted murder and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.

He is considered armed and dangerous. If you have any information, you’re asked to call the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

According to an incident report from Myrtle Beach Police, James Anthony Dwyer, 18, is charged with attempted murder in the shooting. Dwyer is charged with attempted murder and possession of marijuana.

Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue, SLED, and SCDNR also responded.
