CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Police say four people were arrested and processed during a Saturday night protest in downtown Charleston.
The suspects charges included failure to obey a lawful order, public intoxication, and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
Protesters told News 2 that Saturday night’s event was in opposition to “No Knock Warrants.”
The demonstration was one of many held nationwide this week, amid the Louisville Grand Jury decision in the case of Breonna Taylor’s death.
There have been no reports of violence or vandalism associated with Saturday night’s protest.
According to law enforcement, participants were largely compliant when told to disperse.
