Orangeburg Co. Sheriff’s Office searches for missing teen ‘known to run away’


ORANGEBURG CO., S.C. (WCBD) — The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a teen last seen by caregivers last week.

Rashia Weller, 15,  was reported missing after having been last seen by her foster parents on Wednesday, November 30. Weller’s foster parents say the Cordova teen has been known to run away, however, she would always return.

The teenager was last seen wearing spandex-type pants and tan boots. She is believed to have been in communication via social media with people in Charleston and Orangeburg, according to the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office.

Anyone with information on Weller’s location, is asked to call the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office at 803-534-3550 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC
