GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCBD) – Local leaders like Georgetown County Sheriff Carter Weaver, Georgetown City Police Chief Kelvin Waites, and Georgetown Mayor Brendon Barber joined the community in a peaceful protest against racism and police brutality today in light of the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
