Police investigate reported shooting at Dorchester Road Family Dollar store

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC — North Charleston Police reported to shooting call shortly before 5:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at a Family Dollar store.

According to North Charleston police, the employees at the Dorchester Road store told police they witnessed someone shooting at a small, 4-door, white car. They said they saw the suspect run toward Purcell Drive.

While searching the area, police say they found a bullet hole in the gas station located across the street from the Family Dollar.
