City of Charleston Police are searching for Raheem Brown, 25, in connection to a carjacking and armed robbery that occurred on April 12 in West Ashley.

According to the police report, the responding officer met with Xavier Ahmad Dingle, the victim, at the Early Bird Diner on Savannah Highway in reference to the incident.

The victim told the officer he was visiting friends at 639 Sequoia Street when a black male, later identified as Raheem Brown, approached Mr. Dingle’s 2008 gold in color Buick. The victim refused medical treatment at the scene.

The incident is under investigation.

Brown is wanted for armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. Officials say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
