Several priority violations, including rodent droppings and roaches, resulted in a “C” for RB’s on Shem Creek after a routine inspection.
According to the report, the April 29th inspection also found improper cooling methods, no advisory on the menu for people who order undercooked salmon, proper cold holding temperatures, and cooling time and temperatures.
Clean Eatz in Mount Pleasant slipped from a “B” to a “C” briefly in the past week. A couple of consecutive violations sunk their grade. One for cold holding temperatures, and another for not having a door for a room on the outdoor patio where the coolers are stored.
After another follow-up inspection on Tuesday (4/30) Clean Eatz is back to an “A”.
Carolina Ale House in Charleston also spent a short stint with a “C”. According to a follow-up inspection, they fixed problems with “warewashing” equipment and fruit flies, that caused the grade to drop.
