(WIAT) – Depositions will begin in the lawsuit against the gun manufacturer, Remington. The families of the nine victims of the 2012 school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut filed the lawsuit against Remington.
Attorneys representing the Sandy Hook victims’ families will depose two Remington employees. They’re suing the gun maker over the company’s marketing and sales strategies.
The families accuse Remington of using military language in its marketing to appeal to those wanting to commit mass murder. The families are also asking Remington to turn over documents about firearm safety and sales practices.
