SC deputy accidentally shoots self


ANDERSON, S.C. (WSPA) – An Anderson County deputy accidentally shot himself on Beltline Boulevard, at the Anderson Crossing apartments, according to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident happened at about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday.

The deputy shot himself in the leg at his home after coming from an off-duty assignment, according to the sheriff’s office.

They say the deputy’s injuries are not life-threatening.

He is being treated at AnMed.
