Democratic Presidential Candidate and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker stopped in two Upstate counties Thursday.
Booker’s three-day swing through South Carolina began on Thursday with a tour of ReGenesis Community Development Environmental Sites, then Booker hosted 2 “Conversation with Cory”, one at the C.C. Woodson Community Center on Bomar Avenue and another at the Pacolet River Baptist Association on Lovers Lane Road in Union.
During this “Justice For All tour” is focusing on environmental justice, and he tied it to the water crisis in Flint, Michigan, which is marking it’s 5th anniversary this month. He also discussed several other things, including the number of shootings in our country.
Booker will be in Beaufort County on Friday, April 26th for another “Conversation with Cory”.
