DOC: 6 new cases of COVID-19, still no positive inmates

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCBD) – The SC Department of Corrections announced on Thursday that six additional staff members have tested positive for COVID-19.

This brings the total number of reported COVID-19 cases within the DOC system to 10.

The DOC reports that no inmates have tested positive.

According to the DOC, the cases are at the following facilities:

  • Broad River: 2
  • Camille Graham: 2
  • Turbeville: 1
  • Non-institutional staff: 5
