Lumberton Police Chief believes they found Hania Aguilar’s body

LUMBERTON, NC (WBTW) – In a press conference Wednesday, the Lumberton Police Chief and the FBI said they believe they found Hania Aguilar’s body. 

Officials said an autopsy will be performed to find out the manner of death. The FBI said they do not have a person of interest at this time, and are still looking for who is responsible.

Yesterday around 4:45 in the afternoon, authorities found the body where crews were searching for Hania Aguilar. FBI agents and Lumberton Police Department found the body off Wire Grass Road. The FBI said in a press conference that tips coming in lead them to searching Wire Grass Road.

Hania was abducted from her home on November 5th from the Rosewood Mobile Home Park on Elizabethtown Road.
