Orangeburg woman charged in New Year’s Eve shooting

ORANGEBURG CO., S.C. (WCBD) – Brandon Tyler (32) of Orangeburg has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a crime.

The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) says that the charges stem from a New Year’s Eve dispute during which Tyler shot another woman in the leg.

Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said that Tyler could face up to 30 years in prison.
