SC dog stolen from adoption event at hotel

South Carolina News

Police in South Carolina are looking for two women, suspected of stealing a dog from a hotel.

A rescue group says a chihuahua named zoro was living at the Aloft hotel in Greenville as part of an adoption event.

Lucky Pup rescue says he was taken from the hotel Monday afternoon.

Greenville police released security video of two women seen entering the hotel and then leaving the hotel a short time later.

Rescue volunteers say Zoro is microchipped with information linked to the rescue group.

The organization takes in dogs and keeps them in foster care until they’re adopted.
