SC man stabbed girlfriend, her father then waiting for police on the porch

CHESNEE, SC (WCBD) – An upstate man is behind bars after authorities say he stabbed his girlfriend and her father to death… and then waited on the porch for police.

Casey Douglas, 28, had his hands raised above his head when deputies arrived Thursday morning at his Chesnee home.

Spartanburg County Sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Kevin Bobo said Douglas detailed how he killed his girlfriend and her father in a statement and has been charged with two counts of murder.

However, deputies are still trying to determine why Douglas killed his victims.

Lt. Bobo said in a statement that deputies went to the home because Douglas called a family member and told them about the killings.

Douglas is still awaiting a bond hearing. It is unclear whether or not he had a lawyer.
