COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCBD) – South Carolina’s Department of Employment and Workforce is encouraging individuals to complete their weekly certification ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
To avoid payment delays, those seeking unemployment payments should submit their weekly certification before the end of the day on November 24th to ensure payment is processed before the holiday.
SC DEW, like all government agencies, will be closed on Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday.
