South Carolina 2019 flu numbers have been released

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Flu numbers have been released for South Carolina.

The new numbers show that 26 people across the state have died from the flu this season with 11 of those deaths happening in the last week.

Seven of South Carolina’s reported deaths were in the Lowcountry.

The Department of Health and Environmental Control says that this season has been more deadly than last year.
