South Carolina lawmakers react to Mueller Report

South Carolina News

WASHINGTON (WCBD) – South Carolina lawmakers are reacting to Attorney General William Barr’s summary of the Mueller investigation.

Senator Lindsey Graham on Twitter applauded Robert Mueller and his team for thoroughly examining “all things Russia.”

He said it is now time to move on and to get ready to combat Russia and other foreign actors ahead of 2020.

Sen. Graham went on to say “No collusion and no obstruction. The cloud hanging over President Trump has been removed by this report.”

Meantime, Congressman Joe Cunningham said: “For 22 months, the special counsel has conducted a fair and exhausting investigation and I am pleased he has found no apparent evidence of collusion with a hostile state.”

Cunningham said he has the utmost faith and confidence in Robert Mueller and accepted the conclusion of his team’s investigation.

However, he said “After two years and nearly $30 million in taxpayer money … the American people deserve to know what is in the full report for themselves and not just a four-page summary.”
