Spartanburg man arrested in drive-by shooting, 3rd suspect wanted

SPARTANBURG Co., S.C. (WSPA) — Deputies have made a second arrest in a drive-by shooting at a Spartanburg apartment complex and are looking for a third suspect considered armed and dangerous. 

Last month, deputies responded to a shooting at Quail Pointe Apartments on E. Blackstock Road.

An incident report says a deputy found a blood trail leading to an apartment where another officer was placing a tourniquet on the victim’s leg.

Trevion Anderson, 19, of Spartanburg was arrested Oct. 22. 

Anderson remains in jail on attempted murder and weapons charges.

Jacob Patton, 20, of Spartanburg was arrested Wednesday in connection to the shooting. 

Patton is charged with four counts of attempted murder and a weapons crime, according to jail records. 

Lt. Bobo said a third suspect is still at large. 

Deputies are actively trying to locate Tymaine English-Smith.

He should be considered armed and dangerous.
