COLUMBIA, SC (WCBD) – The last Confederate flag to fly at the Statehouse is now on display at the Confederate Relic Room in Columbia.
That flag was placed inside a $1,400 protective case in November.
It now hangs on a wall near other flags at the museum between two offices.
The museum originally proposed a nearly $4,000,000 project that included a high-tech display.
That flag was lowered from Statehouse grounds on July 10th, 2015 after lawmakers voted to remove it less than a month after the Charleston church shooting.
