VIDEO: Woman rescued from SC hotel fire

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCBD) – A woman was rescued from the 3rd floor of a burning hotel on Tuesday in Columbia, and it was caught on video.

The fire broke at the La Quinta Inn. Fire officials say there were about 37 occupied rooms at the time of the fire, but luckily, there are no reports of injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, and the woman was taken to a hospital and is expected to be OK.

Her son tells News 2 they want to thank all that was there and involved in helping.
