The Rev. Norvel Goff, Sr., will lead Sunday morning’s service at Emanuel AME church.  It will be the first service at the church since the shootings Wednesday night.

Goff, a presiding elder of the 7th District AME Church in South Carolina, was appointed to lead the historic Charleston church after Senior Pastor Clementa Pinckney was shot and killed, along with eight others, during a bible study.  He will remain at the church until a new pastor is named.

News 2 will carry Sunday’s service from Emanuel AME church live, on air and on-line, in its entirety beginning at 9:30am.  Our coverage begins on News 2 Today at 7am.
