Tyson recalls nearly 200K pounds of crispy chicken chunk fritters

WASHINGTON (WCBD) Tyson Food is recalling nearly 200,000-pounds of cooked, whole grain golden crispy chicken chunk fritters because they may contain plastic.

The product is only available to foodservice customers like schools.

Products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-1325” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The recalled items were shipped to institutional foodservice locations nationwide and were not packaged for retail sale.

Schools and other facilities with those fritters in those freezers should throw them out or return them.

No injuries or illnesses have been reported.
