COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCBD) – A football player at the University of South Carolina has been charged with DUI.
Sophomore offensive lineman Christian Pellage was arrested on Saturday, July 9 by USC Police. He was released on a $1,017 personal recognizance bond later that night.
Pellage has been suspended indefinitely from all football activities until the case is resolved, according to The State. “He is going to miss some game time,” Muschamp told the newspaper. “I am working through all the details with Christian, Muschamp added.
The 6-foot-7, 300-pounder was expected to compete for a starting position this season.
He has a court date at 1 p.m. on Aug. 24.
