NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCBD) – Thousands will rally together at Riverfront Park this month to give hope to those who lack access to safe water.
More than a walk, this event will impact people around the world forever by providing solutions that save lives.
In many areas where Water Mission works, women and children spend 2-3 hours walking to collect water every day.
Often, their walk is one to four miles and the water they collect is not safe for drinking.
At the 2019 Walk for Water, we will walk in honor of our neighbors around the world who walk to collect water every single day.
This event will take place March 30th at Riverfront Park in North Charleston beginning at 9:00 a.m.
