So, what are the best places to eat and drink around the 18 holes?

If you’re headed out to the open, stop by the Birdie Bar for some drinks and snacks.

It’s one of the best views on the course.

We’ve got cool beverages, right here. You’ve got a view of four holes. You’ve got the 18th hole behind you, you’ve got the 17th, 12th and the 16th in the distance, said USGA Director of Championships, Matt Sawicki. It’s going to be an awesome spot to hang out during the championship.

Thursday and Friday after 2:00 p.m. its happy hour. All drinks half off!

Right here, you can find your favorite beverages whether it’s a Mich-Ultra, a Babe wine. All your favorite snacks right here, said Sawicki. We’ve got a full concession stand behind you where you can get chicken and waffles, you can get a hamburger, hotdog. Whatever you want. All your favorite food is right here.

And don’t forget about the Palmetto Pavilion which looks down the 18th fairway.

You can get Swig and Swine BBQ in that location. You can get all your favorite concession fare. Plenty of cold beverages in there as well, he said.

And Palmetto Pavilion will have TVs broadcasting sports.

So, at Palmetto Pavilion, great spot, not just to watch golf but to watch everything else on TV this week whether it’s the memorial, the NHL playoffs. All your favorite sports are going to be on television there in addition to great golf.
